I am a steamy contemporary romance author. I first fell in love with steamy contemporary romance when I was in college, drawn to the passion, the drama, and the promise of happily ever afters with hopes of a romance that would fill my world with passion but honesty, loyalty, acceptance, and adventure, just as my books had.

In my early twenties, I stumbled onto an app called Dreame. I read stories there every day and often left comments, sometimes offering thoughts that authors even used to shape their books. One story captured me so deeply that I wrote four chapters of my own, giving a beloved character the ending and romance I felt she deserved. That was when I realized I wasn’t just a reader anymore. I was already becoming a writer.

Years later I did not finish or publish that first attempted story. It remains on my shelf to this day, still a work in progress. For over a decade I left those stories tucked away in my mind and heart, never believing I could truly publish anything I wrote. Sometimes I shared unfinished short stories, little dreams I found entertaining — with close friends or family, but I never had the courage to share more.

Life carried me through many challenges, the kind of moments that leave you changed but stronger once you’ve come through them. Writing stayed with me through it all, even when I didn’t believe in myself.

Then came 2020. The world seemed to stop, but my words did not. People were passing away left and right: family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, even strangers I had exchanged simple hellos with. I thought I would see them again at family reunions, class reunions, or back at the office when everything reopened. I remembered buying flowers from vendors on my way home, never imagining those small, ordinary moments would be the last. That year made me realize I had to make a change, even if I didn’t yet know what that change would be.

In 2023, while searching YouTube for books to read (yes, the kind where someone flips the pages so you can follow along), I stumbled across an advertisement inviting people to join a community of writers. It spoke directly to people like me, those with stories inside them who hadn’t yet found the courage to publish. I thought about all the words I had written over the years and decided it was finally time to try.

With the support of that community, I published my debut novel, The Billionaire’s Secret Baby, in July 2023 during a season of personal upheaval. That book became the light I needed when everything around me felt dark. Since then, I’ve continued publishing more romances, each one a piece of my heart.

One of the happiest moments of my life was when someone first claimed my book to read. The next was when I received my very first 5-star review. Even now, every 5-star review takes me back to that unforgettable moment. To every reader and reviewer who has supported me along the way, thank you. Your encouragement means more to me than I can ever say, and I’m grateful to share this journey with you as I continue to learn and grow.

Romance isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth fighting for, and writing about.
